Colts Rookie Camp 2010

The Colts rookie camp is this weekend, starting yesterday and going through Sunday. There had been an extreme lack of official news from the Colts about rookie free agent signings. They did finally announce yesterday though (on their website) who all the rookie free agents are.

The players attending the Colts Rookie Camp are… Continue reading

Final Field of 65 Prediction

I am currently in a car riding from Montana to Colorado so this is gonna be quick and to the point. I’m simply going to list the 65 teams in no particular order. I had planned on this being another full prediction with seedings and all but unfortunately the circumstances won’t really allow that to happen. Here’s the list of 65 teams that I think will make the NCAA tournament this year:

WMD – March Madness

No, not Weapons of Mass Destruction. This obviously stands for Weller’s Musing and Divination. I have no idea if this will become a frequent type of post or not, but this one will be similar to the Bracketology that Joe Lunardi does for ESPN. And of course by similar, I mean that I will be doing exactly what he does: predicting the field of 65 and their seedings in each region. Don’t fool yourself though, Mr. Lunardi knows significantly more about college basketball than I do. Sweet 16 Picks – Day 1

Weller gave his picks for the first two rounds, so now it’s my turn for the Sweet 16.

UConn over Purdue.  I love Purdue, they’re a fun team to watch, but no one is playing better than UConn right now.

Memphis over Mizzou.  If Mizzou can force Tyreke Evans to make bad decisions, they can win this game.   As long as Mizzou doesn’t start out ice cold, as they’re prone to do, this game may be one of the best of the tournament. (I hope I’m wrong here.  Go Mizzou.)

Villanova over Duke.  I love the way Nova is playing right now.  They took a good UCLA team to task and I think their streak continues.

Pittsburgh over Xavier.  I don’t think the Musketeers have enough talent to hang with Pitt for the entire 40 minutes.

My Field of 65 Prediction

This is pretty early considering Selection Sunday isn’t for another month and a half, but I thought I’d put up a prediction just for kicks. I’m listing the teams along with what seeding I think they’ll have. Let me know what you think in a comment. Continue reading
