My Field of 65 Prediction

This is pretty early considering Selection Sunday isn’t for another month and a half, but I thought I’d put up a prediction just for kicks. I’m listing the teams along with what seeding I think they’ll have. Let me know what you think in a comment. Continue reading

Does it hurt? Yes. Is life over? Maybe.

It’s been about 24 hours since last night’s debacle at Faurot Field in Columbia.  I refrained from writing anything last night since I was in a foul mood.  I’m still not sure I’ll be able to do this, but I’m going to try.

I was standing in section BB, row 31 for the entirety of the game and I really wish I had been anywhere else.  I’d had the same conversation over and over with people around campus how the only team that can stop Missouri’s offense is Missouri.  Well, you saw it last night.

I don’t want to take any credit away from Oklahoma State, obviously they were the better team, but my gosh, we couldn’t have possibly played any worse than we did.

Right now I want nothing more than a re-match with them on December 6th in Kansas City in the Big 12 Champsionship game.  But that’s a long way off.  We are going to have to beat Texas next weekend, obviously no easy feat.  Hopefully we’ll learn from this one and move on.

Oh well, in the midst of my depression, I almost missed the fact that the Rams won today.  Donnie Avery’s late catch was key.  A good note to end my week on, I guess.
