2010 NFL Draft Live Blog – Day 3 (Rnd 4)

We’re up early this morning. I’m going to be doing each round today in a different post because thing seemed to get a bit cluttered today, so round five will be here, and round six will be here, and the seventh round here. Let’s jump right in. Continue reading

Review of Day 2

Yesterday we used the Review of Day 1 as our Friday 5. Today we’re doing a review of Day 2 just because we like making lists. We’re adding two more lists this time around. Just like yesterday we still have the five best picks of the day, the five worst picks of the day and the top ten players still available. Now we also have the five teams that are having the best and worst drafts so far (total from Day 1 and Day 2) tacked on at the end. Here they are: Continue reading

2010 NFL Draft Live Blog – Day 2

Just like we did yesterday, we will be live blogging Day 2 of the draft with Bryan taking care of the comments and keeping the flow of conversation alive while I put up each pick and provide my thoughts on each one. Though I was privately criticized by a couple of readers for not taking part in the conversation down in the comments section so I’ll try to do a better job of that this time around. I also feel the need to mention that it is highly likely that the Rams will trade out of this 33rd pick.

Friday 5 – Review of Day 1

Last year we did a Review of Day 1 for the 2009 Draft and Bryan and I decided that we enjoyed it so much last year that we would do it again this year. The difference this year is that Day 1 only consisted of the first round rather than the first two rounds so we didn’t have quite as much to address. So this time we’re simply doing top ten players still available, the best five picks of the first round and the worst five picks of the first round. Here it is: Continue reading

2010 NFL Draft Live Blog – Day 1

Ok after months of waiting, the 2010 NFL draft is finally here. At 7:30 ET Bryan’s Rams will be on the clock. At this point it seems that among the blog and mock draft world the Rams taking Sam Bradford is a pretty consensus opinion. They could still surprise people and take Ndamukong Suh or even trade out of the first pick, which there have been multiple rumors about. By 6ET I will be sitting here with my TV on ESPN and my Google Chrome window will have all sorts of tabs open, including the wish list I put together for my Colts.

To keep everyone occupied throughout the day until the draft actually starts, you can go check out the three mock drafts that I just put up:

One has Sam Bradford being picked first overall by the Rams.

One has Ndamukong Suh being picked first overall by the Rams.

And the last one has the Rams trading out of the first pick.

You can also check out the final results from the fan mock draft and my 20 previous mock drafts by following the appropriate one of these links: IIIIIIIVVVIVIIVIIIIXX,XIXIIXIIIXIVXVXVIXVIIXVIIIXIX, and XX. Continue reading

2010 NFL Mock Draft XXIc (04/22)

It’s draft day! So this is my final mock draft… kinda. I’m actually going to be putting up three mock drafts today, because there are three main possibilities for what the Rams can do with the first pick and each one would have a significant impact on the rest of the draft. The first one (and the one that most people see as the most likely option) is Mock Draft XXIa and has the Rams taking Sam Bradford first and Mock Draft XXIb has the Rams taking Ndamukong Suh first overall and XXIc (this one) has the Rams trading out of the first pick. I just put up the final results for the Fan Mock Draft (each team was represented by a different person) a few days ago and it’s been exactly a week since Mock Draft XX, and I’m ready for the real draft to start.

I also want to once again remind everyone that Bryan and I will be live blogging during all three days of the actual draft (to go to the page for Day 1 Live Blog just click here) and we hope that everyone will come join the running conversation that we will have going on in the comments section. It should be a lot of fun.  I also put up my Colts Wish List a few days ago, so if you’re curious about what I want the Colts draft to look like I recommend you take a look at that. Also, I won’t be putting up my reasoning and thoughts behind the picks after these mocks like I’ve done with most of my other ones, because at this point if you don’t agree with me then you don’t agree with me and most everybody’s mocks are going to be wrong within the first half of the first round anyhow.

Either way if you want to see how my mocks have progressed over the past year, then just follow these links… IIIIIIIVVVIVIIVIIIIXX,XIXIIXIIIXIVXVXVIXVII, XVIII, XIX, XX, XXIa and XXIb. Here is XXIc: Continue reading
