We had a little shakeup at the top with South Carolina’s win over Alabama. Did Oregon take the top spot or did we follow the pundits and put Ohio State at #1?
The suspense is killing me, so I’ll get to it.
Alright, we put Oregon up top on the strength of their better wins and more emphatic wins. Weller doesn’t like Ohio State much at #2, but they’ve won every game by double digits, so we left them there.
I didn’t want to drop Alabama as far as I did, but it didn’t make sense to have them ahead of South Carolina and they couldn’t be ahead of Auburn, either. They slip behind all the undefeated teams. That’s how it goes.
I don’t know what to do with LSU, so they’re staying there. I think Les Miles has a deal with the devil.
I moved the undefeated teams up, hence the big jumps for Oklahoma State and Missouri.
Arizona falls back down to earth after their loss.
Air Force joins the rankings for the first time and I could really be talked out of ranking any team that is behind Florida State. I don’t like that Oregon State is in the poll with two losses, but Weller talked me into it.
