Alright, so I promised sweeping changes, but we didn’t get them. Weller’s internet is broken so we didn’t get a chance to discuss this. (That’s why you’ll find florida still in the poll and LSU only dropping five spots.
Also, I figured out how to not be an idiot and got the new format. Hope you enjoy it:
Yeah, check me out.
Anyway, on to the polls. Alabama stays at the top. They’re dominant.
I flipped Oregon and Ohio State after the Ducks ran wild on a Top 10 team. Ohio State hasn’t done that yet.
Oklahoma moves up two after beating Texas, who apparently isn’t good at all.
It took all I had not to drop LSU any further. They absolutely lost on Saturday and nothing can change my mind. Don’t try in the comments. Not worth it.
Michigan State gets a pretty good boost after beating Wisconsin. I’m starting to think they’re for real.
I only dropped Stanford one, but I probably had them ranked too low to begin with. Andrew Luck may be the best pure QB out there.
Florida drops eight spots. I wouldn’t have dropped them that much but they got hammered in every facet of the game and hadn’t been playing well up to that point.
Our newcomers are all undefeated and ranked by the strength of their best win. Kansas State has UCLA, which is a surprisingly good win. Oklahoma State gets the nod after beating Texas A&M in a wild one last Thursday. Missouri is next after wins over San Diego State and Illinois. Northwestern pulls up the rear with a win over Vanderbilt.
I’ll be keeping close tabs on the Thursday night game between Nebraska and Kansas State. The game is in Manhattan and the Wildcats have one of the best running backs outside the state of Alabama. Nebraska isn’t adept at stopping the run and could be primed for an upset. On the other hand, K-State can’t stop anyone so who knows.
The battle of the Michigan schools should be fun to watch. The Wolverines haven’t exactly shown how good they are in their last two games so this will give them a shot to prove themselves again.
South Carolina gets the next crack at the Crimson Tide. No offense to the Gamecocks but this one won’t be close.
Arkansas and Texas A&M could be a good one if the good Jerrod Johnson shows up for the Aggies. He was good and terrible all at the same time last week.
Florida-LSU would also be worth watching. Except, I don’t care about either of them right now.
I think Stanford will put USC out of the poll next week. That’s exciting. Kiffin sucks.
That’s all for now. Disagree in the comments.
