It has been about two-and-a-half weeks since my last mock draft and we’re going to mix things up a little bit. This time around I have decided to determine my draft order based off of Bryan’s awesome new weekly post that shows exactly what the draft order would be if the season were to end today. * Carolina traded their first-round pick to San Francisco for San Francisco’s 2009 second-round selection (43rd overall, used to select Everette Brown) and their 2009 fourth-round selection (111th overall, used to select Mike Goodson).

I realize Berry is good and I don’t follow the Dolphins, but do they need a SS. I could see them going with a WR because they don’t have an established number 1 guy. Also 3 guys I am curious about and their draft status Major Wright, Lindley and Johnson from KY. Should I expect them in the 2nd round?
I think the Dolphins need a strong safety and as of right now I don’t see any wide receivers that would be coming out of college this year worth taking with the second overall pick. Dez Bryant is the top WR right now, in my opinion and he may be worth it but I just don’t really think so. Berry is more of a sure bet. The Dolphins are starting Yeremiah Bell at free safety right now, and he beyond his prime and wasn’t all that great to begin with, haha.
As for Wright, Lindley and Johnson… I don’t think major wright is even worth drafting any earlier than the sixth round, but he’s really probably an early seventh round talent. Lindley is definitely a late first round talent but I just didn’t think enough teams in the right spots had a big enough need for a cornerback and Micah Johnson is probably like a fifth round pick as of right now.
I also doubt Washington goes with Taylor Mays at SS. Horton and Landry should have the safety spots on lockdown
If Washington makes the right move they go OL. If they make the wrong move they sell out Campbell again and draft Sneed or Tebow.
Word on the streets is that the Jags want tebow.
