Terrell Owens Released

ESPN is just reporting that Terrell Owens has been released from the Dallas Cowboys earlier tonight. Much more coming on this, I’m sure.  ESPN.com now has it as their front page.

  1. I can’t believe this… It’s almost mind blowing… Heck, I don’t care about his “character issues” people don’t like his attitude but he at least he doesn’t get into legal trouble like a lot of players… I would be thrilled if he came to the Colts. Granted, we don’t exactly have the cap room to sign him, but I doubt this late in his career he’s going to want to sign with a team that doesn’t have a shot at the Super Bowl… and he’s going to want to play for a team that has a good quarterback… those two things right there narrow his options quite a bit… so maybe he’d be willing to come catch some of Peyton Manning’s passes for a slight pay cut… Hey, a guy can hope, right?

  2. It’ll also be interesting to see if the Cowboys now try to go after Marvin Harrison.

  3. Sign him up in GB

  4. Maybe TO can sign on with Cincy …..

Can you imagine the chaos Chad and TO could cause together !

  5. I wonder where he will end up? Cinci would be nasty but it’d be a circus with TO and CJ one-upping the other with td celebrations.

I can see him in Indianapolis too. They have enough guys to shut him up in my opinion and it’s not like manning won’t find him. If he found Harrison 140 times or whatever, he can find TO 90 times.

  6. Maybe bring him to Denver? Try to win back Jay Cutler by bringing in a weapon like TO. Plus Brandon Marshall’s latest legal trouble may help that along. I have no idea.
