Occasionally here at WaB we get emails promoting certain websites or requesting links and sometimes we act on them.  This is one of those times.

A while back I got an email from one of the guys at Soccerpro.com.  Being the huge soccer fan that I am, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try and help.

I happened to be in the market for a new pair of cleats as my old pair had recently begun to bust through at the toe.  It was really a perfect storm.  I looked through their selection of boots and settled on a pair.  I went with the Adidas F30 i TRXs.  There were two main reasons behind my choice.  One was the sweet deal offered through Soccerpro.com ($23 savings) and because I’ve never had a pair of white cleats before.  The second one wasn’t quite as important as the first, but I did have options.  I won’t link to them, but I did check around and you can’t get these shoes any cheaper than I did here.  Those of you with Fox Soccer Channel may know which site I’m referring too. $30 price difference and you can’t get them in white.

I also got a ball.  My last ball had been run over by a car (stupid story that I won’t go into) and so I was in desperate need of a new, un-warped ball.  I chose this one, the Adidas TerraPass Replique.  I stuck with the Adidas theme here, again, I had plenty of options.  I had a tough time deciding between a few of them, but I’m happy with my final decision.

I also wanted a jersey since  I sort of collect them.  Well, they had plenty of those as well.  I didn’t end up getting one since I’m sort of on a wedding budget, but rest assured that I will be going back to them at some point to get the Black Liverpool jersey.  Man, that thing is sweet.

Anyway, this afternoon my merchandise arrived.  It was perfect.  The cleats fit like a glove and the ball is great.  I was like a little kid on Christmas.  Too bad it’s so cold here in Missouri or I would’ve started a pick up game in the front yard.
