It has been exactly one year since my first mock draft and just like last year I would first like to pay respect to all of those that were lost and those who lost loved ones in the tragedy seven years ago. Our thoughts go out to all of you.
This is my fifth mock draft this year and this time around I have used my season predictions to determine the draft order. To see how things have changed you can check out Mock Draft IV.

1) Eric Berry is no QB, but I wouldn’t complain about this.
2) Good to see you’ve bought the Dez Bryant hype. He’s real good.
3) Selvish Capers is the best name in the draft already.
1) So much for the Seahawks having the top pick. It’s nice to have a reason to want Denver to lose that isn’t historical. I’d always based it on our ex-AFC West days and not liking their ex: Shanahan.
Hard to see the Rams and Detroit (and maybe one or two others) getting much more than Denvers one win though.
2) And being unusually anti-orange today, I’m afraid I don’t buy Spiller at 11. Perhaps I’m watching the wrong Clemson games, or their o-line is worse than it looks, but he never looks capable of doing it against a “bigger” opponent.
3) No Crabtree? Perhaps San Fran could have picked him again at 31. Not that they will get 31. Carolina will be on holiday in Jan.
