For the last mock draft we’ll be putting up here, we’re going to need your help. Follow this link to see what I’m talking about. It will be fun and will give you documented evidence that you can draft better than your team’s front office.
I’ve decided to put up another mock draft just six days after my previous one because I have had a few new people email in to submit ratings for their favorite teams positional needs. I also had our Lions rep say that despite most people giving the Lions an OT or Aaron Curry with the first pick, he think they would benefit most from BJ Raji and I thought I kind of liked the idea and that it would make my mock a little more unique so I went with it.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment, and if you would like to submit ratings for your favorite team’s positional needs that I can use for my next mock draft take a look at our Contact Us page, and shoot me an email and I’ll let you know what you need to do.
If you would like to see how things have progressed, I recommend checking out my first seven mock drafts: (9/11), (9/25), (10/10), (10/15), (12/10), (1/03), and (2/06).

Who do you think the Lions will take with the first overall pick?
as an eagles fan i luv this draft…it addresses everything i believe that has kept us from a superbowl trophy
I like the lions choice with Raji….and if Davis falls to 20 it would be hard for them to pass on him as well. If they do grab Davis (I believe they will select Laurinaitas if available tho…) they have to get linebacker, interior o-line, or DE….if Duke falls they will grab him with there 2nd rounder if not I would have to say charles johnson, Robert Ayers, Larry English, Clint Sintim or Alex Mack all would be ahead of a skill position player…LIONS WILL NOT TAKE A RB IN THE 2ND ROUND! you can get a quality back in later rounds and they all ready have K Smith cemented as their primary back….
There is no way the Bills will take Stafford at #11. Zero chance. Edwards is their QB of the future. They have so many other glaring needs. Either of the DEs you had going at 9 or 10 would be a good fit. And the USC LBs Rey Maualuga or Brian Cushing would work also.
The Bills front office is committed to Edwards. They do not want a QB.
This is the best Detroit draft I have seen… nice job
If the Lion’s draft Stafford or Sanchez #1, I will jump off the Empire State Building! To think they would waste a #1 on a QB or WR, is Millenesque move. They have Curry sitting there, Smith, Oher, Monroe, BJ, and Jenkins. Make the right move Mayhew!
Chargers drafting a CB when they’ve got 3 top CBs already. hmmm. Not credible unless the guy is going to be a Safety.
San Diego is a team that likes to go with BAP unless they have a glaring need (which would be DT, but no DT available was worth a first round pick) so I had them take Moore, because even though he wasn’t the absolute best player available he will still help their team more than the few guys i had in front of him.
BJ RAJI would be the one!
No way the Texans go WR in the first. They had the number 3 offense in the nfl in 08′ and one of the worst defenses. They already have a number one wr that is among the best in the nfl and their number 2 wr had 60 catches for 850 yards last season. They also have a te that had 70 catches for 800 yards last season. We have enough throwing options as is. In your mock they would want to trade back but since that isn’t feasible, Vontae Davis or Aaron Maybin would be their choice.
I like the Everett Brown pick for the Packers from the standpoint that it is a defensive end. I see Jamal Reynolds all over again but o well. Probably just bitter feelings.
I think they’ll take Maybin or Orapko over Brown but well see.
I don’t think they’ll draft an OLB with their first pick in the 2nd round. They have 5 OLB’s after moving Kampman there (Kamp, Hawk, Popina, Chillar. Havnar).
They are going to lose Taucher at LT. They will replace him or draft his replacement to be if they managed to afford Mark for another year. Moll isn’t the late draft steal they thought he was.
They also need to draft Clifton’s eventual replacement. And need a backup center. So expect 2-3 lineman picked, and ones who need to contribute quickly.
They won’t take a tight-end, especially in round 3. Donald Lee is a very solid tight-end who does excellent in the running game…They like Finley from Texas a ton. 6’5” 250 freak athlete. They just wasted a third rounder on.
DE/OT/CB are their biggest needs and they will address them quite a few times. If Bigby isn’t re-signed, look for them to go Safety early too.
I would love the Lions to get Stafford, but if they don’t the only other player I would want is Raji, and to go with Davis there too would be amazing. But a RB in 2nd round will not be worth it, you still have Johnson available, or go with a versatile OL with Unger, who can play guard very well to help the line, then move over to center with Raiola is done. That would build better for the future. So, then no OG in 3rd, instead go MLB Beckwith to help inside and move Lenon back to SLB.
I have no problems with your choices for the Bengals, each is an excellent choice for where they are placed. I do not see Tennessee taking Percy Harvin because of his injury history. I think Brian Robiske is more their type of receiver, but it would be too early for him probably. Corner or DT seem more likely. If Jerry is there, they will take him, or maybe wait for the second and get Ziggy Hood.
Muy buen blog. No veo la hora de que llegue el mundial de futbol en sudafrica 2010
