Well, I’ve decided I kinda like my new formula for determining NFL power rankings. I made a small tweak since last week’s rankings but it was only in the math behind it, not in anything you’ll see here. To give a brief explanation, I tried to make all of the pieces a little more balanced and had them weighted into the formula in margins that seemed more fair. I don’t know how much sense that will make, but I don’t know how else to explain it and it was such a slight change that I really don’t think it will matter to anybody. If you’d like a better understanding of the formula as a whole you can either look at last week’s post, leave a comment, send an email or any combination of the three and I’ll be happy to answer most any questions you have. Like I said the last two times, the “Score” column is just the number that my formula spit out. I don’t actually think the Titans are over five times better than the Panthers, the “Score” does not reflect the teams in that way. But here it is:
